- Blair is a graduate of the University of the South and the Vanderbilt Law School, where she was the Justice Weldon B. White Scholar.
- Upon graduation from law school, Blair was honored with an appointment to serve as the Senior Law Clerk to the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. She assisted the Chief Judge with legal research, Courtroom services on the Motion Docket, and in hearings and Trials, coordination with Attorneys, Witnesses and Jurors and she researched and drafted Bench Memoranda and Judicial Opinions for the Chief Judge in both federal civil and criminal cases pending before the Court.
- Blair is a highly experienced Attorney, with extensive service in the government, private and non-profit sectors.
- Her public sector experience spans service in Federal, State, County and Municipal governments.
- Blair has served as an Assistant Attorney General at the Tennessee Attorney General's Office, where she defended the State of Tennessee in litigation in Federal and State Courts.
- She is admitted to practice and has litigated in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. Blair has handled litigation in Tennessee Circuit and Chancery Courts, and has practiced before the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals and the Tennessee Supreme Court.
- Blair is an experienced drafter of a broad range of legal documents, briefs and pleadings for matters in litigation and on appeal, and she has authored Bench memoranda and thousands of Judicial Opinions.
- She has served as Corporate Counsel to two Tennessee corporations, practicing in the areas of healthcare, insurance and securities, with responsibility for regulatory compliance and litigation management and support.
- In addition to being honored with two Judicial clerkships, Blair has twice served on the Bench in Tennessee herself, with over 18 years of experience as a Judge.
- She has passed the Bars and is licensed to practice law in the states of Tennessee and Nevada.
- Blair is an experienced Mediator, with Tennessee Rule 31 listings in General Civil and Family Mediation, and has received specialty training in Domestic Violence issues.
